A newborn photo session is held around 5-21 days after the baby is born and is baby-led, natural, with minimal posing, and taken with lots of breaks for feeding, nappy change, or simply just for some mama cuddles.
Booking your newborn session in advance is highly recommended and should be booked around your 20th-week prenatal scan.

How to Prepare for Your Newborn Photo Session
Soon after you book a session, a detailed preparation PDF will follow, where you will find details about our session, but I will include here a few tips to help make your session stress-free:
Dress Comfortably: Neutral tones and soft textures work beautifully in photos.
Declutter Lightly: A tidy space helps keep the focus on your family, but no need for perfection!
Embrace Natural Light: Open curtains and blinds to let in soft, natural light.
Q & A
How long does a baby shoot take?
An entire newborn photo shoot usually takes about 2 to 2.5 hours but we are following your baby's cues.
We take many-many breaks if they need a feed or just simple cuddles with the parents.
Who is being photographed?
All close family members can take part in the shooting (grandparents and fur babies are also welcome)
We will take photos of:
your baby alone
siblings with baby, big brother(s) or sister(s)
the family together
detailed pictures of the newborn
mom & baby
dad & baby
What should we have ready for the newborn shoot?
I always recommend having ready:
Pacifier (if you use one), burping cloth
2-3 outfits you want to use in your shooting (we might end up using just one but in case of little "accidents" we need some changes. I always recommend a simple white onesie or neutral color clothing
One or two outfits for the siblings
For mom
Neutral color dress or top (I have in my client's wardrobe a few beautiful dresses you can borrow)
Nude and white underwear
Outfit for dad (white t-shirt or shirt is the most popular option)
